Guide 01

How to choose the right brightness for window-facing and outdoor displays

This article explains how to choose brightness for two common advertising applications: window-facing displays and fully outdoor advertising screens.

Brightness is measured in nits, and the right level depends on sunlight, glass, viewing distance, heat and power. A brighter screen is not automatically better—visible contrast, anti-glare treatment and the complete installation environment matter just as much.

How to choose a great interactive meeting tablet

The key is to choose based on how your team actually meets—not on the longest specification sheet or the biggest screen in the showroom. This guide explains the most important factors to evaluate before buying an interactive meeting tablet.

The best display for a small huddle room is rarely the right choice for a large boardroom or training room. Start with the room, the people and the way your organization collaborates, then compare display quality, touch, casting, software, security and support.

Outdoor displays need a thermal strategy.

The IP rating describes protection from dust and water, but it does not guarantee stable performance in direct sun. An outdoor enclosure needs a cooling method matched to local climate, a path for heat to escape and a plan for condensation.

For hot climates, air-conditioning may be necessary for large high-brightness panels. In cooler or variable climates, smart fans and heaters can keep the internal temperature within range. Salt, pollution and wind-driven rain should also shape the finish and service schedule.
